Unattended Honing on a Vertical Chucker
Index Corporation has teamed with Bates Technologies (Fishers, Indiana) to integrate a stationary, air-gage-monitored honing system with an inverted vertical spindle chucking lathe to allow unattended turning, boring and honing on one machine.
